At the end of last season we were able to carry out some much needed work to the East Side of the green in terms of relaying a new pathway which is designated as the visitor's area and having a new Disabled Ramp Access installed.
We would like to thank the following:
Outer North East Community Committee of Leeds City Council for supporting our grant application which helped us to deliver this project. A big thank you goes to Preet Matharu who was our contact in this department and who's help, advise and support was invaluable.
This year (2018) we have been able, with the support of the Parish Council, to relay the existing pathway on the West Side on a firmer foundation and to install a brand new pathway on the South Side along with new boarding on both those sides.
The club would like to thank again Aquascapes & Landscaping Limited who carried out all of the work, delivered a first class job and completed it within the timescales they had set. It has made a huge difference to our club's infrastructure.
Thank you Rob & Luke for all your hard work.
Thank you also to Julian Holmes, Chair of the Parish Council, and it's Committee for supporting our grant aplication.
We would like to thank the Churches Together Collingham for their generous donation of £300 from the Collingham Gala Fund (2019) which was put towards the purchase of an Arbour which now sits in the North corner of the green. It has proved to be a popular place to sit by both Members and visitors alike. Thankyou to Patrick Earle of the Churches Together Committee.
