A Brief History
The green at Collingham was laid down between 1921 and 1922, along with three grass tennis courts, within the grounds of Collingham Memorial Hall, itself a new building erected in memory of the fallen of World War One.
The current Collingham Bowling Club was formed in 1946 after the Second World War. It is a most important part of the Collingham Village Community and draws its membership from the community and surrounding villages and towns.
