CHAIRLADY'S MESSAGE
Dear Members and Friends,
As another successful & enjoyable season comes to an end, all teams & players are to be congratulated on their performances in striving to improve on last season. We especially congratulate Jim Hobson in winning the Over 90's competition on North Leeds for the second time, to Dennis Hobson for reaching the quarter finals of the Champion of Champions Competition on Wetherby and to our Saturday team under new Captains Angela Scorfield & John Mokes for winning the Jack Cook Suplementary Cup Final on Easy End Park.
This year saw us participate in the Collingham Gala and a great day was had by all those who attended.
We also held the Barkston Ash Delegates Meeting and Trophy Day, the Harrogate 3rd & 4th Division Merits Finals as well as being a neutral green for several Association matches. Thankyou to all those who supported us at those events.
Our Presenation Dinner was another great success. Thank you to all those who donated raffle prizes and helped us raise the fantastic sum of £255. The generosity of Members is overwhelming.
Finally I thank your Committee who give excellent support to your club in looking to improve all areas of the green on your behalf.
I look forward to seeing you all at our AGM in January 2020 and at our Cheese & Wine evening in March 2020.
Yours sincerely,
Maureen Burleigh
